We all know it… we love something (like this great importer) and all of a sudden something changes and it stops working. This importer is designed to work with all versions of verifed flights from old to new.
Especially if you want to bulk import 1000 or more flights over different years where the format might have changed.
Maintaining this compability has a few subtleties to it.
Pilot Flying Duty
Until July 2019 our verified flights did not include who was the actual Pilot Flying for that leg. Now this information is added and you just have to forward the mail without changing or adding any information. For all mails before July 2019 you should include “PF” anywhere below “FlightNumber” and above “Captain Remarks” if you correctly want to log PIC, PICus, SIC.
CrewCodes and Names
To keep it simple: The following procedure is only necessary if you want to bulk import flights and only if you care about CrewCodes and Names in your Logbook. If not, no need to worry. If yes, just split all verified flights in to “before May 2019” and “after May 2019”. The reason is how LogTen handles imported flights.
